How are you handling your business?  Are you crossing your t’s and dotting your i’s?  Working in your business every day should be the catalyst that can help you to become business ready for several types of occurrences that will occur.

Listen to this.  When doing business with a customer do you have a contract in place?  One day when doing business with a company there was a part of the contract that the company did not wish to abide by.

The customer wanted the deliverables in a format different than agreed upon in the signed contract.  Instead of becoming emotional about the change, as a lot of us business owners do, the focus was put more on the part of the signed contract that addressed ‘deliverables.’  If a signed contract addressing ‘deliverables’ was not in place then there would not be a leg to stand on.

The signed contract saved the day.  Is there a contract in place with your customers?  If not, think about it, it can be beneficial for you.
