Join the Mission Culture Center for Latino Arts on October 5 for the 2nd Annual San Francisco Veteran Film Festival (SFVFF) “A Salute to Women.”  It’s free and open to the public.

Time:  Noon to 9pm

Location:  2868 Mission Street, San Francisco, California

Did you know that Veterans are extremely creative?  During the SFVFF you will get a glimpse into just how artsy and creative they can be.  This annual education platform provides an opportunity into learning how women Veterans are handling several issues while serving from Military Sexual Trauma (MST) and women in combat to don’t ask, don’t tell.

You will see filmmaking shorts by local artists.  There will be a variety of visual art and expression from paintings to photography.  Also, you will get a preview of works by Cuban Female Artists courtesy of Cara Cabezas Contemporary.
