As a business owner and entrepreneur you have several passions to tap into and decide on what type of business to concentrate your efforts on.  You could own a café, clothing store, salon, law firm, marketing company or recording studio the choice is yours.  Despite the path chosen, you must possess the tools necessary to guide you through both the highs and lows.

In your chosen industry there are several resources that you must tap into to continually educate yourself.  It is highly recommended that you take the time to stay up-to-date and on the cutting edge by networking, attending training and workshops and reading various types of material.  As you would with your chosen profession consider venturing into resources to help you become a more well-rounded business owner and entrepreneur from ethical decisions, marketing, technology and accounting systems to brand development.

As in the music industry the system is continually changing from royalties, publicity, record companies and working with recording artists to being or working with producers and engineers.  Everything is continually evolving and changing.  Always be prepared to change and evolve with it.

There are several low cost to no cost resources available to help you along the way.  As you stay engaged with those around you with the same interests you will begin to be on your way to being ahead of the curve.  Music does soothe the savage beast once you become more balanced.
